Owners' companies can install rooftop solar at any ACT apartment complex that qualifies for the program's grants and zero-interest loans, worth up to $100,000, through the Solar for Apartments program.
Half of the funds will come in the form of a grant, while 50% is financed by a zero interest loan for which the owners would have to repay the company.
This program is co-funded up to $3.6 million under the Commonwealth Government's Solar

Who are eligible Solar for Apartments in Australia
The Program is open to owners corporations, also known as body corporates, who are in charge of an eligible apartment complex located within the ACT.
The average unimproved value of a unit on the premises must be $300,000 or less in any year starting in 2022 in order to be eligible.
The premises also have to:
possess a Class A unit plan, as specified by the Unit Titles Act of 2001, and be built in the style of an apartment complex.
be finished development when the application is made.

The solar installation must benefit every occupant of the building.
To ensure that they can repay the loan component, the owners corporation must also meet the standards established by Brighte, the loan provider.
